The Greenwood Village Police Department welcomes commendations and complaints from citizens regarding police conduct. We also strive to investigate and resolve all citizen complaints and allegations of misconduct against department employees.
If a citizen wants to make a complaint about an officer or employee, an On-Line complaint form or returnable complaint form can be used. All complaints are investigated in a thorough and impartial manner. The Police Department may need to contact the complainant to gather additional information or conduct an interview for verification of information. Some complaints can be explained or resolved satisfactorily by a visit or telephone call to the employee's supervisor. The supervisor will talk to the complainant about the issue and try to resolve the situation.
