Commendations & Complaints

The Greenwood Village Police Department welcomes commendations and complaints from citizens regarding police conduct.  We also strive to investigate and resolve all citizen complaints and allegations of misconduct against department employees.

Commendations

If an officer or employee of the Greenwood Village Police Department has provided services that you feel he or she should be commended for, please use this Online Commendation Form or the downloadable Police Commendation Form (PDF) which can be filled out and returned by mail or in person.

Complaints

All complaints are investigated thoroughly and impartially.  The Police Department may need to contact the complainant to gather additional information or conduct an interview for verification of information. Some complaints can be explained or resolved satisfactorily by a visit or telephone call to the employee's supervisor. The supervisor will talk to the complainant about the issue and try to resolve the situation.
