The Village Police Department is a progressive police organization with an outcome based policing philosophy. Outcome based policing is derived from the Village’s outcome based management system. It is an expansion of traditional policing to include problem solving, intervention, partnerships and community based policing as a means to prevent crime, fear of crime, and social disorder.
