Business Safety Resources

Greenwood Village Police Department offers the below services to help protect your business and employees.

Enhancing Safety Through Environmental Design

The Greenwood Village Police Department is proud to participate in the Crime Free International Association. Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) is a multidisciplinary approach to deterring criminal behavior through environmental design. CPTED strategies rely on influencing offender decisions that precede criminal acts by affecting the built, social, and administrative environment.

CPTED surveys for businesses, residences, or schools are provided as a free service. Contact us to schedule a CPTED survey.

Emergency Key Access

The Greenwood Village Police Department has partnered with Knox Box Corporation to provide non-destructive emergency access to commercial properties. Officers will come to your business and assist you with identifying the proper location of your emergency key box and provide you with the correct ordering information. If you would like to schedule a consultation for your business, please call 303-773-2525.
