The men and women of the Greenwood Village Police Department (GVPD) are committed and passionate about serving their community. GVPD is a progressive police organization with an outcome-based policing philosophy.  It is an expansion of traditional policing to include problem-solving, intervention, partnerships, and community-based policing as a means to prevent crime, fear of crime, and social disorder. GVPD is focused on providing consistent, high-quality police service.
