Caley Pond Improvements Public Information Meeting

The City of Greenwood Village’s Public Works Department is hosting an information meeting regarding improvements to Caley Pond to learn more about project details, schedule, and anticipated construction impacts. The meeting will be held Wednesday, November 13, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Greenwood Village Maintenance Facility, 10001 E. Shop Safe this Holiday Season

Drug Take Back Day Breaks City Records

Greenwood Village Police collected 1,167 pounds of unneeded and unused medication during National Drug Take Back Day in October, which is over 500 pounds more than ever previously collected in a single Take Back Day event. Thank you for helping keep prescription medications out of the wrong hands and out of the waterways! If you missed the event, there is a Drug Drop Box at Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office Headquarters Building, 13101 East Broncos Parkway, Centennial. It is available to the public year-round during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.), excluding holidays. Learn more about the Drug Drop Box.

Leaf Drop-Off Program

Greenwood Village offers an easy way to keep your leaves out of the landfill. Leaves can be dropped off loose or in bags any day of the week through Dec. 1 in the dedicated area of the north parking lot at Village Greens Park, 9501 E. Union Avenue. Learn more about the Leaf Drop-Off Program.

Festival of Lights

Monday, Dec. 30 at 5:30 p.m. - City Hall

Join the Chabad Jewish Center of South Metro Denver to light the giant menorah and enjoy Chanukah crafts and treats. Event is free to the public.

The Curtis Center for the Arts is proud to present “Through the Looking Glass” featuring works from Glass Artists of Colorado. Story Time: Holidays in the Tropics

Dec. 16, 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. at Greenwood Village Maintenance Facility

Catch a wave with your favorite tropical princess and get ready for an exciting island adventure during this island-themed story time featuring dancing, singing and photo opportunities. Registration is $5 per child and the event is recommended for children ages 2-5. Register here.

Focus 50 (Senior Programs)
