2. Ride-Along Application Form

   Please complete this application to accompany members of the Greenwood Village Police Department (GVPD) on general duty in the City of Greenwood Village, Arapahoe County, and any other location as necessary.

   • Participants must be at least 18 years of age and will submit to a background check before the ride-along.
   • Participants are limited to a four-hour ride-along and must follow all rules and regulations set for by the GVPD and hosting officer.
   • Business casual attire is required during your ride-along.

    • I am aware that I can ride for a period of time as authorized and approved by the on-duty supervisor.
    • I discharge the City of Greenwood Village, their elected officials, officers, and employees from all legal actions, claims, or demands at law, for any injuries, damages, or losses of any nature whatsoever, that may result from or occur at any time while I am riding in the vehicle owned by the City of Greenwood Village while accompanying an officer, or when I am in or about said City property pursuant to the privilege granted.
    • I am aware that the passenger-side airbag may have been deactivated.
