Ting Construction Update

The City of Greenwood Village is pleased to announce the citywide construction of Ting’s fiber internet network is ahead of schedule, with all residents who live in the Phase 1 of the project east of Yosemite Street anticipated to have access to Ting service by the end of the fall season. This means construction on Phases 2 will begin earlier than anticipated, with Phase 2—which includes residential areas west of Quebec Street—anticipated to see construction beginning this month. Learn more about the Ting Fiber Initiative.

Two New K-9s Ready for Duty

Greenwood Village Police Department recently welcomed two new K-9 officers, Titan and Tango, with support from local partner CoBank. Learn more about Titan and Tango.

Resident Shredding Event

Saturday, Sept. 14 at 9 a.m. to noon - City Hall
Each household is permitted two legal-sized boxes of paper or one 13 gallon garbage bag for shredding. Event is free but tickets are required. Register for your ticket.

Art on the Green

Saturday, Sept. 14 and Sunday, Sept. 15 at 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Curtis Park
Stroll the lush grass at Curtis Park during this free annual all-Colorado art fair featuring over 90 artists, live music, food trucks and local beer and wine. View full artist lineup.

Village Greens Playground Public Input Meeting

Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. - Village Greens Park
The Parks, Trails and Recreation Department is inviting the community to bring ideas and give input on the features of the playground equipment at Village Greens Park. Please join us to provide input regarding what elements should be included in the playground replacement that is scheduled for spring 2025.

Saturday, Oct. 5 at 1 to 3:30 p.m. - City Hall/Carson Park
Race to pick the perfect pumpkin and enjoy music, art projects, games, refreshments, inflatables and costume contests. Register for your resident ticket.

Classes are instructed by professional artists and educators who strive to provide the best art educational experience for all artistic levels. Peter Durst/Stan Meyer: Two Friends-100 Years of Art

Sept. 7 to Nov. 2

The Curtis Center for the Arts is proud to present “Peter Durst/ Stan Meyer: Two Friends-100 Years of Art”. Durst and Meyer are longtime friends with mutual interests in form, pattern, and color. Durst's ceramic sculptures and Meyer’s weavings and paintings stand the test of time and make for a dynamic exhibition. Exhibition reception will be held Saturday, Sept. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. Learn more about Curtis Center exhibits.

Recreation Programs

Youth Recreation Programs: September programs include pee wee soccer and intro to sports, youth basketball and archery, and more. View schedule and register.

Focus 50 (Senior Programs): Meet new people, engage in mild exercises, dance, and learn new culinary and cultural skills at these free senior programs every Monday at Curtis Center for the Arts. Drop-ins are welcome and attendees can come and go based on your schedule. View schedule.
