Park Amenities
William McKinley Carson Park is adjacent to City Hall and offers a small gazebo with picnic table that may be permitted. Other park amenities include:

  • Pond with fishing

  • Boardwalk providing wildlife viewing of the natural area of Greenwood Gulch

William McKinley Carson Park is also home to the Mayors’ Memorial Garden, a place for contemplation, solitude, and remembrance. The garden is dedicated to past mayors of the village, memorializing their contributions to the quality of life in Greenwood Village.

Skate Park Amenities

William McKinley Carson Skate Park sits adjacent to City Hall. Also referred to as Carson Park, this area is “bowls of fun!” The skate park features:
  • Two bowls 4-feet to 8.5-feet high
  • Four-foot high ramp equipped with a 2-inch steel grind rail and a 20-foot long runway
  • Ten-foot long by 4-foot high 4-inch mini ramp spin
  • Four-foot vertical drop
  • Baja ramp
  • Eight and a half-foot high ramp spine with teardrop

While all boarders and skaters are invited to test their skills at Carson Skate Park, the bowl is designed for the intermediate-level skater. William McKinley Carson Skate Park Rules.

This park is located in the central part of town, adjacent to City Hall, just south of East Orchard Road on South Quebec Street.
