Let’s kick off the New Year with Beginning Oil Painting, a class that will offer an introduction to the practice of oil painting. Students will be introduced to oil painting materials and mark making, and they will be encouraged as they make their first paintings in a low-pressure, fun environment. Students will be introduced to compositional ideas as they begin their oil painting adventure. Students can paint either from still life or from reference photos as they experiment with oil painting materials.
