Drawing and Embossing Foils for Teens

Embossing is a metal technique in which the artist raises or lowers a relief image to create a design on a metal surface. In this class students will create their own embossing designs on foil. Students will work on a drawing and choose specific elements to transfer to embossing metal to create a three-dimensional impression. Students will use a variety of tools and techniques and will work on and improve their drawing and sculpting skills each week. Tuesdays, June 6 through June 27 Instructed by Maggie Stewart 11 to 16 years old
