Teen Summer Art Studio - Large Paper Mache Bowls

Teens will construct a large bowl out of paper mache. They will mold their bowl around a balloon. Using tissue and rice paper they will cover the balloon until they achieve their desired shape for the bowl. They will add other dimensions to their bowl and then cover the paper with a clear coat of paint. When the paper dries and hardens teens will pop the balloon and their bowls will be functional! Instructed by Maggie Stewart Ages 11 to 16
