Art in the Park - Sea Creatures

Tuesday, June 15, 2021

Let’s dive down into the deep blue sea to see what magical and colorful creatures live below! For this project participants will get to create a mermaid tail and/or octopus tentacle using alcohol inks and acrylics. Participants will learn how to create a colorful work of art using alcohol inks which will create a tie dye and bubbly look to their artwork. They will also use acrylic paints and paint markers to create colorful designs and patterns on their sea creatures. This will be a fun and shiny painting that kids will have fun diving into! Ages 6 to 12 years old Instructed by Lauren Brant ART IN THE PARK Make the journey to Silo Park this summer to create unique hands-on art projects! Each Art in the Park program introduces participants to a different art medium and technique that will be used in designing and constructing a unique and original work of art. Join us for one day or several to create art!
