Encaustic for Teens

Encaustic is the art of painting with hot beeswax, resin and pigments. In this class teens will learn many encaustic techniques including ghosting, layering, collage, carving and transferring images on their pieces. Materials will be provided, and teens are encouraged to bring in their own images or other paper sources to add to their encaustic pieces. Instructed by Maggie Stewart
