During the pilot program, GCMD will cover the mileage cost of each ride. Each ride is only a $1 fee (plus tax) to unlock a scooter and ride anywhere within the geofenced service area as identified in the map. “No park zones” have been established at office building garages. The four designated e-scooter stations—located at the corner of Maplewood Avenue and Greenwood Plaza Boulevard, in front of Pindustry, near the RTD bus stop on Arapahoe Road and Spruce Street, and near the Arapahoe at Village Center Station plaza area—help ensure that streets and sidewalks remain clear and safe for pedestrian and vehicle travel.
Use of Spin e-scooters requires downloading an app on your mobile device. The Spin app provides rider safety information, rider basics and more. Visit GCMD'S website for more information about the micromobility program and to download the Spin app. For questions about the City’s participation in the program, contact Derek Holcomb, Director of Community Development.
