The Greenwood Village Police Department has learned that an individual has been contacting citizens claiming to be a “Detective from Greenwood Village Police” and telling people they have a warrant for their arrest and to avoid being arrested, they need to buy and send in gift cards.
This is a scam! Greenwood Village Detectives will never call and ask for money or payment by gift card.
