On Sunday, May 16, Arapahoe County will move to the newly established Level Clear on the state’s COVID dial. This means that the only remaining restrictions are those required by the state, although mask orders may still apply in certain communities or businesses.
Between May 16 and August 16, the Tri-County Health Department (TCHD) will monitor hospital admission rates in the County. All counties overseen by TCHD will be moved to more or less restrictive levels as needed.
Despite this loosening of restrictions, everyone should continue using best practices, such as social distancing and mask wearing, whenever possible, particularly when you’re around people with unknown vaccination status.
Arapahoe County officials encourage everyone who wants a vaccine to sign up for one through their health care provider, or by going to the Tri-County website to find a vaccination site near you.
