The on-scene investigation of the shots fired call at the Isabella apartment complex, 5301 South Yosemite Street has concluded. The shelter-in-place for the apartment complex was issued out of an abundance of caution based on the original 911 calls but has since been lifted via a second Reverse 911 notification. At this time, there is no evidence that the gunfire struck anyone and the area has been rendered safe. The investigation into the suspect's identity is ongoing.
ORIGINAL RELEASE: On July 7, 2023, at approximately 10:23 AM, Greenwood Village police responded to the 5300 block of South Yosemite Street regarding reports of gunfire in the area. Officers are on scene investigating. No victims have been located. This is an active investigation and there is currently no threat to the public.
