Encaustic is the art of painting with hot beeswax, resin, and pigments. In this one-day workshop we will shape paper into bowls laced with natural botanicals and cover them with encaustics. This is a freeform abstract sculpture class and students are encouraged to bring in their own grass, sticks, leaves, and ephemera paper. Instructed by Maggie Stewart
