Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the area typically with powdered metals like gold. In this unique ceramic class students will learn this traditional art form by repairing and decorating pottery using gold leaf. This art form finds the beauty in broken ceramic and when glued back together and gilded creates a new elegance to the piece. Come explore this unique art form!
