Traditionally, prayer flags are used to promote peace, compassion, strength and wisdom. In this one-day workshop create your own set of colorful prayer flags using the batik method. Each student will receive their own set of hemmed flags that will be ready to hang! Students will draw and paint a resist with wax and dye on the flags. These beautiful flags will be colorfast and sturdy enough to flay outside! Come and add some art to your garden! Saturday, May 21 Instructed by Maggie Stewart
