Get ready for the holidays and bring color into your winter wardrobe! In this popular one-day workshop participants will learn how to paint on silk using vibrant dyes to decorate their own silk scarf. Participants will also learn the batik technique of using wax as a resist for the dye. This is a wonderful workshop to experiment with beautiful colors that are similar to watercolor but with permanent dye. All pieces will be steamed, and the instructor will notify students when the silk pieces will be ready for pick up at the Curtis Center. Instructed by Maggie Stewart
