There are a variety of free classes offered for those 50 and over.


Senior Activities
Fit at 50+ - Mondays, 9:00 - 9:20 a.m. Free. Simple stretching and toning exercises to your favorite music.
Focus 50+ - Mondays, 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Enjoy a variety of foods, good conversation, interesting topics and lots of laughs at each event! Free and open to weekly drop-ins. For questions and schedule please contact Gina Oldenburg, 720-227-8685.
Curtis Dancers - Mondays, 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Learn new dances, practice old and enjoy and hour of energy, fun and exercise.  This program is on-going and free to seniors.  Please call Cathy Delap, 303-486-5766, for more information.
Harmonikats - Mondays, 11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. Learn to play the harmonica in a relaxed, friendly environment. You'll learn several songs to entertain your family and friends. Bring a C note harmonica. Please call Cathy Delap, 303-486-5766, for more information.

9:30am - 10:30am - Your Encore Life:  Some Assembly Required

Longevity has provided the potential for a wonderful gift: second growth.  This represents a new option in the life course called “Encore Life”… a second harvest of creative potential in work, play, relationships and caring.  In this presentation you will learn about five tools necessary for building an Encore Life, think some new thoughts, and begin to use these tools to determine what Encore Life you might like to assemble.

Your Presenter is Lynette Reiling, a Certified Life Coach specializing in midlife reinvention and the Volunteer Recruitment Manager for Boomers Leading Change.  Boomers Leading Change mobilizing people age 50+ to utilize their talents, skills and experience for social good.  In both roles, Ms. Reiling’s mission is to change narrative of aging through education, advocacy and inspiration.

Enjoy flavors of Europe including Italy, Scotland, Norway and more while learning simple daily phrases from several languages presented by participating members of FOCUS 50+. Everyone is welcome to bring your favorite family food and old country greetings.

Invite friends and family to meet Special Guest Speaker, Jayme H Mansfield, author of Rush.

9:30am - 10:30am - A Taste of Spain - History of Pilgrimages in Europe
Invite friends and family to welcome back, Daniela Degarbo, who will share her journey of the Camino de Santiago. 
Also enjoy the flavors of Spain as we journey back to the Middle Ages..
