Viewing Building Permit Status

Greenwood Village's Online Services provides access to search for Building Permits and Licenses.  You may search both current building permits and/or history for a specific building permit or address. 

If you require records for a specific building permit, please complete and submit the Records Request Form. 

Obtaining a Building Permit
Submit a Building Permit Application with two sets of plans (stamped if structural) and all other applicable information in person to our Community Development Department in person.  

We are accepting Over the Counter (OTC) Building Permits online.  This can only be accomplished after you are a licensed contractor and have requested an online account with us.  See instructions for setting up an online account in the Contractor License tab.

Ask the Building Department
If you cannot find an answer to a specific question, submit your question through the
 Ask the Building Department web form. Someone from the Community Development department will then research your question and get an answer back to you within one business day.
