Whether you are looking to catch a flight, hop on the light rail, or prefer to have a shuttle bus pick you up at your desired location, access to an array of transportation alternatives to your vehicle are conveniently located in or are in close proximity to Greenwood Village.Transportation issues remain a key quality of life issue for Greenwood Village as the Village is committed to address local and regional transportation concerns. Efforts are underway through the planning of transportation projects through the Village’s Capital Improvement Program, collaboration with other local, regional, and state agencies, and lobbying with congressional state and federal representatives, to plan for and address the transportation dilemma in an effort to reduce traffic congestion and delay, making life simpler and safer for the traveling public.

Public Transportation
Call-n-Ride
Call-n-Ride services are available in Greenwood Village. The Call-n-Ride service has two service areas in and around the Orchard and Arapahoe Light Rail stations. If you want to be picked up or dropped off anywhere within one of these service areas, you simply pick up the telephone, call the driver on his / her cellular phone to schedule a ride, and you will be picked up. The Call-n-Ride services can be used to get to work, go out to lunch, or to do just about anything you want.

Regional Transportation District (RTD)
Regional Transportation District (RTD) is the Denver metro-area bus and light rail service provider. RTD provides more than 175 region-wide bus routes, a Southwest and Central Light Rail line, the Southeast Light Rail Line, and a variety of special transportation services to meet an array of needs.

Light Rail in Greenwood Village
In November 2006, the Southeast Light Rail Line opened and residents, businesses, and visitors have access to light rail transit in Greenwood Village. The Orchard Light Rail Station and Park-n-Ride, which offers 48 parking spaces, is located on the west side of I-25 right off Greenwood Plaza Boulevard. The Arapahoe at Village Center Station is located on the west side of I-25 with a pedestrian walkway to connect riders to the station’s Park-n-Ride of 817 parking spaces on the east side of I-25.

Transportation Options for Seniors
Arapahoe County provides transportation options for older adults in continuing to live independently in their communities. They partner with Via Mobility Services to provide transportation for adults age 60 and older. There is no fee for rides. Donations are appreciated. Schedule a ride by calling 303-444-3043 from 8 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday. Trips can be scheduled in advance.
