Special Occasion Alcohol
Special Occasion Alcohol Permits
An alcoholic beverage is defined as malt or vinous liquors but does not include fermented malt beverages (a.k.a. 3.2 beer). A permit is not required for 3.2 beer in cans. There are two types of Special Occasion Permits: one permit is for private events authorizing the possession and consumption, but not the sale, of alcoholic beverages and the other is for public events and authorizes the sale, possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages. Please be aware that alcohol sold at a public event also requires a liquor license from the Greenwood Village City Clerk.
