The Curtis Arts and Humanities Center is home to many unique and exciting art exhibits, lectures, cultural events, concerts, activities for seniors, youth, and adult art programs. Curtis serves as the focal point in Greenwood Village’s commitment to the arts.  Curtis offers seven exhibits during the year including Youth Art Month, Greenwood and Beyond, and the All Colorado Art Show.  Learn more about the History of Curtis.

Gallery Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and evening and weekends as posted.

Scholarships Available for Graduating Seniors Pursuing a Degree in the Arts

The Greenwood Village Arts and Humanities Council will award two college scholarships to students pursuing degrees in the arts. The awards are $4,000 for first place and $2,000 for second place. The scholarship winners’ school will also receive a $500 award for their art programs. Student must be a graduating senior from an Arapahoe County high school or a graduating senior who is a resident of Greenwood Village. The student must be planning to enroll as a full-time student at a college or arts school majoring in either the performing, visual, literary arts or architecture. Exhibit - _SCAPE
When: November 14 - December 30
Reception : Saturday, November 19, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Where - Curtis Arts & Humanities Center
Landscape. Soundscape. Dreamscape Escape. _scape highlights the work of innovative printmaking asrtists who navigate landscapes both real and imagined in their artwork - the landscpaes of memory and the psyche, war and conflict, everyday life, and music.

Special Events

Artist Talk - _scape
When:  Thursday, December 8
Where: Curtis Arts and Humanities Center
The current exhibit showcases innovative printmakers from across the country. Come hear four of the Colorado artists featured in the exhibit talk about their work, their process and how they navigate landscapes both real and imagined in their artwork.

Winter's Glow
When:  Wednesday, February 8, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
Where: Curtis Park
Ice sculptures, fire dancing, s'mores, and music
