Curtis Center for the Arts

Welcome to the Curtis Center for the Arts. Formerly the Curtis School, which initially opened in 1914, this historic brick building continues to serve as the City of Greenwood Village's home for cultural arts education. The Curtis Center offers a variety of arts instruction, rotating visual arts exhibits, lectures, and other cultural events.

All exhibits and receptions are free to attend.

Youth Art Month


Show Dates: February 2 through February 28, 2026
Celebrate the creativity of students from more than a dozen local schools! This show features artwork from grades K-12, showcasing a variety of school projects across a range of media. Families are invited to join us for special extended hours on Wednesday evenings until 7 p.m. throughout the month.

Upcoming Events

Film Series

The members of the Greenwood Village Arts & Humanities Council and the staff at the Curtis Center are pleased to present a Winter Film Series, which will be held on the first Wednesdays in February, March and April 2026. 
All films will be screened at the Landmark Theater, located at 5415 Landmark Place in Greenwood Village. Come enjoy a wonderful selection of fun, family-friendly films and brighten up those brisk winter weeks ahead! 
Tickets are $12 each; get tickets.

February 4, 6:30 p.m. - The Ballad of Wallis Island  
March 4, 5:30 p.m. - Ne Zha II  
April 1, 6:30 p.m. - The American Southwest
