Fashion Show (1)Come join a fun and friendly group of active seniors on Mondays at the Curtis Center for the Arts. There are a variety of free classes offered for those 50 and over.

Senior Activities
**Focus 50+ - Mondays, 9:00 - 10:15 a.m. Free. This is an ongoing program that provides unique opportunities for adults 50+ to explore and use their talents and creativity while learning exciting new skills. Join this welcoming and casual group and meet some new friends. For questions and schedule please contact Gina Oldenburg, 720-227-8685.
Curtis Dancers - Mondays, June 12 - July 31, 10:15 - 11:15 a.m. The group will meet at Aspen Academy in the classroom. Free. Learn a variety of dances set to great music. There may be the opportunity to perform at various functions. Please call Cathy Pate, 303-486-5766, for the fall schedule.
Harmonikats - Mondays, June 12 - July 31, 11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. The group will meet at Aspen Academy in the classroom. Free. Learn to play the harmonica in the relaxed environment. You'll learn several songs to entertain your family and friends. Bring a C note harmonica. Please call Cathy Pate, 303-486-5766, for the fall schedule.

**Focus 50+ Calendar - Summer Schedule

The group will be meeting at the front door of the Curtis Center for the Arts
June 5:  GAME DAY - join us for coffee and treats as we play bocce ball and cornhole. The book "Lake of Fire," the Village Read
          book selection, will be distributed to those who join the book club events. 
     June 26:  COFFEE TALK -  this event will be held at Aspen Academy (meet at the front door of Curtis)
     July 10:  POST 4TH OF JULY PICNIC
     July 24:  BOOK CLUB - the first discussion of the Village Read selection "Lake of Fire" will take place at Aspen Academy
     August 7:  GUEST SPEAKER MARK STEVENS - Mark Stevens, the author of the "Lake of Fire" will be speaking at Koebel Library
          at 9:00 a.m. in Room A. A van will be available at Curtis at 8:45 for those who need a ride.   


COMING THIS FALL

Polarity Yoga: This four week program emphasizes polarity therapy, hatha yoga, tai chi, and martial arts as a means of improving posture, balance, flexibility and overall strength. Monday, September 11, 18, 25 and October 2, 11:00 a.m. to noon, Greenwood Village City Hall. Fee $30; click here to register.
