Building Permit Status

Greenwood Village's Online Services provides access to search for Building Permits and Licenses.

Public Access

What information is provided?
  • Permit Search displays Building Permit Number, Classification, Address, Parcel, Description, Status, Contractor, Associated Dates, and Inspection Status and Comments.
  • License Search displays the past two years of licenses and their Business Name, Address, Classification, License Number, Status and Associated Dates.
How to search for Building Permits or Contractor Licenses?
  1. Visit the Greenwood Village Online Services Portal. 
  2. Select Permits or Licenses. 
  3. Once on the permits or licenses, screen, you may search by various attributes, such as address or application number. Choose how you wish to search by clicking on the appropriate selection. Your application number is the same as your permit number or license number.
  4.  Once you have found the permit you are looking for, click on it and the permit record will appear. You can access the summary information, the inspections and the inspection results performed on that permit.  The attachment tab does not contain any information at this time. 
  5. Reviews display the current review status.
  6. Inspections display the result of the inspection if it has been resulted
Be on the lookout for new functionality since we will soon release a portal for contractors to create profiles to manage Building Permits and Contractor Licenses. 

In the meantime, to schedule an inspection, call the inspection line at 303-694-5023 by 4:15 the day before you are requesting an inspection. You will be asked to provide the address and the permit number of the job. Effective January 1, 2016 Electrical inspections are scheduled through the City and must be called in on the inspection line at 303-694-5023.
